Moonrise Over Ningaloo

Exmouth | Friday 4 September 2026

Dining Beneath the Full Moon

Moonrise Over Ningaloo brought guests together for an elegant long-table dining experience overlooking the turquoise waters of Ningaloo beneath the glow of the full moon.

Hosted at Exmouth Yacht Club and catered by Fork & Knife, the evening celebrated exceptional local seafood, premium produce and the beauty of dining beside the ocean after dark.

Long tables, candlelight and sea breezes created an atmosphere that felt intimate, relaxed and unmistakably Western Australian.

A carefully curated four-course menu showcased regional seafood, station beef and local produce, with premium wines selected to complement each course.

Guests began with crab ravioli finished with burnt butter and paired with Alkoomi Grazing Unwooded Chardonnay, followed by roasted cauliflower with romesco and sumac, matched with Alkoomi Grazing Rosé.

The main course featured 18-hour slow-cooked boneless beef short ribs with Exmouth Wild prawns, potato gratin, asparagus and chimichurri, paired with Alkoomi Grazing Shiraz. The evening finished with Chocolate Three Ways accompanied by Penfolds Port.

Set against Exmouth’s night sky, Moonrise Over Ningaloo brought together food, wine and the coastal beauty of the Gascoyne in one memorable evening.
