Australia’s Last Sunset brought the 2026 Gascoyne Food Festival to a close on one of Australia’s most remote and remarkable islands.
Guests travelled to Dirk Hartog Island for an overnight experience shaped by dramatic coastal landscapes, local food, island stories and the final sunset over the Indian Ocean.
From towering sea cliffs and remote beaches to sunset cocktails and dining beneath the stars, the experience offered a fitting finale to 16 days of food, produce, culture and community across the Gascoyne.
The overnight stay also included island touring, marine experiences and time to explore the raw beauty of this remote part of Western Australia.
